1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email, password hash, business profile details you submit.
• Content and uploads — brand assets, captions, prompts, and generated outputs you create with Alita.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data — logs, device and browser information, IP address, and analytics events used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To run your content scenarios, generate and schedule posts, and deliver them to your connected accounts.
• To send transactional emails (welcome, receipts, reminders, ticket replies) and important service notices.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. Sharing

We share information only with the providers that power the Service — hosting, database, AI model providers, payment processors, email delivery, and social-publishing partners — and only as needed to deliver the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@usealita.com; we will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days unless we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@usealita.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted transport, access controls, and audited infrastructure — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

7. Children

Alita is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard.
